I love the way this artist's paintings softly glow! She does animal paintings on commission and I'd love to have one of them of my cats someday. Maybe after I sell a few more paintings of my own.

The is one of those paintings I could look at for a long time. It's interesting to see the diferent way each animal is holding it's instrument. The way the light falls gives it kind of a 3d effect. The medium is gouche, kind of an opaque watercolor. I've always had problems trying to paint with it, so I really admire anyone who call produce that effect.
